Art and design have shaped my life in many ways. While becoming a ceramic artist, I built a career as a hairstylist in Los Angeles — another outlet for my love of form, color, and aesthetic balance. My passion for clay began in boarding school in Boston and deepened through studies with Regis Brodie at Skidmore College, Kevin Meyers at
Art and design have shaped my life in many ways. While becoming a ceramic artist, I built a career as a hairstylist in Los Angeles — another outlet for my love of form, color, and aesthetic balance. My passion for clay began in boarding school in Boston and deepened through studies with Regis Brodie at Skidmore College, Kevin Meyers at Otis College and Jean Kojima at LMU. Inspired early by my British mother’s encouragement and art classes in Woodstock, NY, now in my New Orleans home studio, I continue to explore the beauty of form and the quiet magic of making things by hand.
